More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm passionate about laughter. Life is too short to let a day go by without laughing at least once. Family and friends, but mostly family. Learning, you can never stop learning. There are so many things that I want to know and learn about. For instance, how many licks does it take to get to the center of a lollipop? The world may never know.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy reading a good deal more then I should I think. I also love going to the park. I do like to be outside. Memorial park is awesome, the walking path is nice; And I just discovered they have a mountain bike trail!

The most influential person in my life has been

Affection and caring. I like to make others feel special and loved and appreciated. But I like to have that feeling as well. I am a very affectionate person. I love cuddling, holding hands, sending flowers, the random I love you txt and the like. I appreciate it when someone wants to do the little things like that to make you feel wanted and loved. Also someone who is mature enough not to play emotional games. That wasn't attractive in high-school and it sure isn't now.

The first thing people notice about me

My sense of humor. I admit I am a bit sarcastic sometimes, but I love to laugh I can't help it.

The last book I read and enjoyed

State of Fear by Michael Crichton great book about Global Warming, Media's influence in the social conscience, and the gullibility of the American public. It's a work of fiction sure but it sure makes you think.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Life, it's an interesting journey. I'm curious to see where it goes from here.
  2. My sense of humor. It gets me through hard times when I need it the most.
  3. My Mom, who's been there my whole life; and my dad who I met when I was 13. They have been there for me every time I fell.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My level of caring about people. Because I tend to be sarcastic, or joke around a lot, people don't see me as a very caring person, when the exact opposite is true. But I don't show that side but to my closest friends.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Funny, Outgoing, Romantic

A little more about me

It's midnight and I'm bored out of my skull. Have two days off in a row, not usual for me, and didn't know what to do so on a whim I'm on here..... since, apparently now 1 in 5 relationships begin online, I am not sure what that says about me.... lol Now I just need to figure out how to subscribe to this thing and make it work. I am not the most technical of people.
