More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Curiosity. I am always seeking new things, be that trivia, people, activities, or places. I read constantly, watch any history and science shows I can find, and love my research job for it's ability to keep me interested. Then again, people are usually the best source of all things new and interesting, so I love the random conversations I have with strangers.

I typically spend my leisure time

If I can find someone to play pool with, I am happy for the night. Otherwise, I would always rather be outside. I go for walks in the city to people watch and explore. I find a sunny spot in the park to read or settle with friends. I'm always up for a good bar and a good conversation. I'm starting to explore hiking and more, but living in a city makes it not a regular thing for now. Oh, and I seem to be developing a real love of the gym, which has my friends completely confused!

The most influential person in my life has been

Loyalty, honesty, bravery, and the ability to keep me laughing. You know, general white knight. (And yes, that's a joke.)

The first thing people notice about me

My laughter, my leather jacket or occasionally my crazy shoes.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Most recent few are as follows: "The Perfect Mess", because it makes me feel better about my paper-covered desk. "Unseen Academicals" (Terry Pratchett), because anything Pratchett makes me gleefully happy. "Journal of Albion Moonlight" (Kenneth Patchen), because I had not read anything surreal, confusing and poetic in while and it's been one of my favorites for 10 years.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My friends and family
  2. That I have had the ability to travel and experience a range of people and places
  3. That I truly know I can make it through anything in the end - it lets me try anything once.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

The quiet side of my personality! I am always surrounded by people or laughing about something and people rarely notice the more peaceful side of me.

Friends Describe me as

Intelligent, Passionate, Romantic, Thoughtful

A little more about me

Hmm... I am a Devil's fan - you don't have to like them, but you can't insult them when I'm around! (Yes, I root for the Caps when they don't play the Devils.) I love country music, pool halls, animals, gardens, and kids, so people with a strong aversion to any of those might want to avoid me? That's really all I've got. Just ask.
