The one thing I am passionate about...
Completing my MBA June 27, passing a professional finance exam (CFA Level II) June 6, and changing careers into the institutional investment industry before graduation.I used to be in Lions Club and other church and charitable organizations before all the studying took over, so I may rejoin those groups in the future. Family and friends are very important to me.
I typically spend my leisure time
I enjoy bike riding, rollerblading, am an avid golfer, ice skating, meeting new people, travel, movies, couples country line dancing, bass fishing on my old Ranger bass boat, fly fishing & fly tying, trap shooting, wood working, stained glass, prairie style architecture, hockey and the Chicago Blackhawks, fine dining, the occasional symphony, wine, craft beer, good friends, and fire pits. I enjoy all genres of music and play piano and acoustic guitar occasionally. In the future I might enjoy ball room dancing if I find someone to go with, and plan to take introductory flying lessons this summer.
The most influential person in my life has been
Honesty, patience, kindness, cares about others, dependable, intelligence, a sense of adventure, laughter, and a great smile.
The first thing people notice about me
My light-hearted nature. I'm confident and many times professonal, but never take myself too seriously. Life is too short. I'm more of a outgoing extrovert with an analytical side. I am completely comfortable striking up conversations with strangers.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Tiger Woman on Wall Street
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My Mother and Sister, and great memories of my loving father.
- My amazing friends.
- My faith.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I am extremely honest, dependable, and I care about others. I'm always "that guy" who actually will show up when you need to move. I try to always RSVP and communicate when plans change. I have integrity and do what I say.
Friends Describe me as
Caring, Good listener, Intelligent, Loyal
A little more about me
Unfortunately, I'm allergic to dogs and cats. No, I haven't been in a relationship with any of the ladies in my pictures; just lots of friends. I know I'm a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ENTJ; which I understand is really common for MBA students.
