The one thing I am passionate about...
I really care about developing my paintball team. I want us to become a close knit unit that fights together like one, and moves with a professionalism and grace that comes from hard work, training, and dedication. I want my guys to be proud of their effort, the team, and themselves; to respect their skill, and develop an attitude that they can apply to life, so everyone who serves the team can walk away from it with something. There's a certain flavor in things for people who fight for it. I'm also a closet military geek. Okay fine, I'm an open military geek. It's amazing all the things we have done and are capable of because of war.
I typically spend my leisure time
Exercising, practicing martial arts, paintball, training for paintball, shooting/producing, learning how to DJ, exploring new places, hiking, watch movies, go out to eat, walk at the beach at night (companion required), window shop (I like the idea of looking for something to buy, but not actually buying it), hookah, going to museums (again, special companion required).
The most influential person in my life has been
She's kind, down to earth, and caring. She knows who she is and is comfortable with herself. She doesn't surround herself with pretty friends and expensive things to feel good about herself. She doesn't play games and is confident, not cocky. She knows she's pretty but does not flaunt it nor think herself better for it. She'll find beauty in the darkest corners of the world, and doesn't judge people for what they've done and are doing with their life, but what they're capable of. She does not need to prove anything to anyone but herself. She can see through me when I'm not being myself, and is not afraid to tell me off when I'm being a jerk.
The first thing people notice about me
That I am a good conversationalist
The last book I read and enjoyed
Rogue Warrior by Richard Marcinko. He was the founder of SEAL Team Six. He talks about his training, life story, experiences as a special forces operator, and how he came to creating the world's most deadly military force. He lived his life with dedication and purpose, and made a mark in history which is and meant to be unknown to most of the world. Marcinko serves as an inspiration in both attitude and approach, and a big lesson on duty, politics, war, fate, professionalism, determination, and even about love when it conflicts with duty. I sound like one of those "The New York Times calls this...", but his novel gave me a lot of perspective.

A little more about me
Aside from paintballing, working, volunteering, and video making, I'm actually kind of lost. I changed my profile 4 times because each time, I feel like I've changed and realized I'm nothing like the person I just described. All I know is I like outdoor adventures, I like the city, and I like going to a friend's house to watch a movie or relax. I practice martial arts on and off, as with my DJ phases. I volunteer when I have time. I really care about and value my paintball team even though it nets the least profit of all my activities. I don't know when I won't be lost, but I'm hoping I can find someone who I can figure it out with together.
