More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

What am I not passionate about?! I am a very passionate person, but it comes down to people, chocolate, and sleep. :)

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to do most anything social, I love movies, and going out to eat with friends, I love to make cards, I love to play sports and games (but not to watch.)

The most influential person in my life has been

I need someone who is absolutley committed to making a relationship awesome. Its a given that at some point, relationships get hard, and they take work. I need someone WILLING to put in the work. I'm determined to have my marriage be GREAT. Not just pretty good.

The first thing people notice about me

I like to have fun!

The last book I read and enjoyed

I love to read, but not all that I read is memorable. The last book I read that impacted me was "Eat, Pray, Love" It made me think a lot about how life is short, and its important to do what you love.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family. I am hugely blessed in this aspect of my life. My parents stayed married, and taught me the importance of commitment, education, and independence.
  2. Being born into the church, and knowing that the atonement is REAL. Not that you cant make it if you weren't born into it, but I don't know that I would have been able to. I needed the structure.
  3. My life experiences. I genuinely feel that as I get older, life gets better because of the different experiences we get to have. Even though some of them are super hard, its worth it in the end.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm a deep thinker. I love deep conversations, about important things. I'd like to skip the fluff. I can talk about the weather and what I do for a living, but I'd rather talk about meaningful things.

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Genuine, Optimistic, Outgoing

A little more about me

I love children, (I better, since I work with them every day) and am pretty much a kid at heart. I'm maybe the most competitive person you will ever meet. (I wont even let my four year old niece beat me! (but at least if she wins, she knows she did it for real!)
