More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Traveling is my biggest interest right now, I always enjoy finding and exploring new places, especially when I have someone I care about with me to share the experience with.

I typically spend my leisure time

Some of the things I enjoy doing in my spare time include going to the gym/exercising in some way, continuing to take classes in my field, and spending time with my friends/family. I feel all three are a good use of time no matter how you go about it.

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty, without it, you can't have a true and lasting relationship. I want someone that I can say just about anything to and not feel that I have to censor myself or hide the real truth. Tact certainly comes into play here, but it shouldn't deter me from telling the person how I feel or something important at a later or better time.

The first thing people notice about me

My sense of humor, I'm a bit twisted, sarcastic for sure, this is thanks to growing up in north Jersey and growing up with many quick witted friends.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Culture of Narcissim, by Christopher Lasch, completely random book but after seeing it at BN I picked it up and actually enjoyed it. Essentially it talks about society's lowered expectation and how our culture on the whole has changed so much because of it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Having a strong family that I can always count on to be there for me.
  2. Having a great group of friends that I enjoy spending time with doing just about anything.
  3. My health that allows me to do my job and help others.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

How genuine I am, I don't blame anyone really, I know it's just getting harder and harder to trust people today.
