More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about spending time with my friends, staying in shape, spending time with my dog (preferably outdoors), cooking delicious meals, traveling, staying organized, and trying new things.

The most influential person in my life has been

I am looking for a best friend that will love and support me through all of lifes ups and downs, while I am doing the same for him. Laughing all the way ...

The first thing people notice about me

I have recently been interviewing for new jobs and when I sent a thank you to one of the interviewers she replied with, Your most precious quality is your genuineness, never lose that. I do think that I wear my heart on my sleeve and have been told that by friends in the past. It was nice to hear that a stranger noticed as well.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Ironically Eat, Pray, Love. I had bought it almost 2 years ago now and it sat on my shelf. I had heard from friends (including Oprah) that it was a great read and for whatever reason I just never jumped in, it constantly got cut in line by True Crime novels. But when I was headed on vacation last month I decide it was a great time to read about someone else?s. It was really a nice story and I completely enjoyed the hopefulness that was ultimately conveyed.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family and friends who love and support me through all of life’s ups and downs.
  2. My dog. It never ceases to amaze me how 45 lbs of unconditional furry love can make even the worst day a distant memory.
  3. My positive outlook on life. No matter what happens in my life I try to always remember that things could be much worse and I am very lucky to have so much to be grateful for.
