More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

If I had to choose one, it would be music. I've played a few instruments since third grade and was nurtured by my parents to love and appreciate all forms of music.

I typically spend my leisure time

I'm the type of person that wants to go anywhere, no matter if its planned in advance or the last minute. It sparks my interest more if its something i've never done or seen before. If I were to be specific, I'd enjoy fairs, festivals & farmer's markets, live music and day trips.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for someone who has a strong sense of loyalty and integrity. Looks and money have never been as important in searching for a partner as those two qualities.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm not 100% sure about this but I've been told by some that I put people at ease when first meeting someone.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Fair Game" by Valerie Plame Wilson. I love reading non-fiction books. Anything historical, bio's on extraordinary people etc. This book has a huge amount of redacted pages but what isn't, shows how patriotic she consistently showed even when extremely powerful people had her in their sites. I was drawn to this book because it told a different side of the post and pre 9/11 maneuverings of the CIA. She came off as a very good person who did her job without prejudice.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The opportunity to get to know my mother as an adult. We slowly became best friends, my closest confidant.
  2. I was able to have such a close relationship with my grandparents. They kept me on track & always gave the right advice.
  3. My 18 year career in healthcare. The perfect field for people that never want to stop learning.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

At times I can be shy, so people might think I'm shy in general but I'm quite outgoing, silly and love playing practical jokes.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Generous, Loyal, Outgoing

A little more about me

I have a history of relationships that work for many years. I treat relationships as an investment, of sorts; I "invest" in who people are from the inside out. I'm really excited at the possibilities; getting to know someone at a pace that showcases personalities, not just looks.

I am
Somewhat Liberal
