The one thing I am passionate about...
I'm passionate about life in general, but who isn't? My family and friends, doing well in school, being there for others and getting involved in volunteer work, self-improvement and becoming a better me, theater (either being part of a show or seeing one) and just generally all things awesome.
I typically spend my leisure time
Well, leisure time is RARE for me considering how busy I am with school and other school related activities... but, when the opportunity presents itself I'll most likely end up just kickin' it with friends. Maybe head out to the bars or maybe just have a chill night in watching movies or playing board games. Other than that I really like to do anything crafty - scrapbook, cross-stich, paint. And I will never pass up the opportunity to just relax with a cup of tea and a book. I also like being outdoors, camping, cook-outs, etc. I will admit that I'm a TV junkie (not to be confused with a couch potato!) and watch a handful of shows regularly.
The most influential person in my life has been
I am looking for someone who knows who they are and can be themself. Someone who is open and honest and can talk about anything with me. Someone who genuinely cares about others. Someone who never takes themself too seriously and has a sarcastic sense of humor. Someone who is passionate and has ambitions and goals.
The first thing people notice about me
I suppose I can be pretty charming, in a light-hearted sarcastic kind of way. I'm a bundle of energy wrapped in a smile! Seriously though, people always tell me that I'm such a sweetheart.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Mostly textbooks - not entirely too interesting :] The last thing I read for myself was "The Dress Lodger" by Sheri Holman. It was more or less a historical fiction novel. I love reading all types of books - feel free to recommend something to me!
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Family & Freinds
- The opportunities I've been given in my life
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I'll tell someone that I'm still in school and then I just get labled as another run of the mill college kid. That bothers me because I love getting to know people, love having conversations, and then eventually people see that there are indeed many layers to who I am. School and my future goals are important, but there's more to me than just that.
Friends Describe me as
Affectionate, Dependable, Energetic, Good listener
A little more about me
I'm on my last semester of undergrad and will be graduating in May with my degree in Social Welfare. After that is grad school to get my Master's in Social Work. You should also know that I started eHarmony when they were offering the 'free' communication to see if it's worth while. So far I'm really happy with the opportunities that I feel are going to come out of it :]. But since I'm not technically subscribed I won't be able to communicate after the initial icebreaker communications are finished - my email account is PicoAnn33 at g mail com. So if you want to keep getting to know me (and I hope you do!), you can reach me there.
