The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about being around positive people. Talking with positive people lifts people up instead of pulling them down. I think people should be more passionate about caring for their families, friends, co-workers, etc. When I experience a romantic relationship with a guy and I know he feels the same way about me as I to him, I can become very passionate about this intimate relationship. I know that over time, it does take compromise and keeping that chemistry alive for the relationship to last longer than a month!
I typically spend my leisure time
If I am alone, I like to listen to my favorite CD's or read a good book. If I am with my boyfriend, I enjoy learning what interests him and hopefully he'll be interested in what I like too. Of course, if the chemistry is definitely there, I would make a pass at him and see how he responds.
The most influential person in my life has been
Honesty. If a person can be honest with me, I believe a solid foundation for a relationship can be built.
The first thing people notice about me
I guess that I smile a lot. I can't help it, I'm happy!
The last book I read and enjoyed
The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman. This book shows how people communicate with different love languages. This book focuses on married couples, but it can apply to any relationship. It helps to improve communication between people: whether it be with your spouse, a family member, co-worker, or any intimate relationship. I liked this book so much that I am now reading The Five Love Languages of Teenagers.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- I am very thankful for my family. Despite our ups and downs of life, I know my family loves me unconditionally and will always be there for me. I feel the same way towards them also. I love them deeply and I feel very blessed.
- I am thankful for my friends- the real true blue friends- those who see me at my best and my worst and still want to be my friend- my good qualities and weaknesses.
- I am grateful for living in the United States of America. Although there are so many negative things people say about the USA now, so many other people who live in other countries around the world fight and risk their lives to live in America. They want a better life for their families and many say that America is the place to make their lives better. I really believe that Americans don't realize how good they have it. Each American teenager should visit and live in a third world country before they graduate from high school.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I am down to earth, that I am not "fake" like some women are.
Friends Describe me as
Affectionate, Good listener, Intelligent, Quiet
A little more about me
On the outside, I'm usually a quiet and reserved person. Most people think then that I am very shy. But, it is really the opposite. I am quiet and reserved because I am observing people's behavior and what is coming out of their mouths. If very negative comments are coming out of their mouths 99 percent of the time, then I don't hang around them much. If I see someone treating another person badly, then that says a lot about their character too. I just love being around positive and fun loving people. Life is too short to be negative. When I get to know a man, and I like him, I show it. If he does not respond, then I move on.
