More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love to travel and see new places. I enjoy combining hiking with that endeavor and think the best way to see a country is on a train or on foot.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy a good movie and dinner with friends. I like to hike in the mountains around here and around the world. I love to read a good book and take the dog for long walks.

The most influential person in my life has been

Undrstanding. I would like him to take the time to get to know me, where I've been and what I want in a relationship and life.

The first thing people notice about me

I laugh...loudly.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Help by Katheryn Stockett. I love the way she developes her characters and brings to life her life and the lives of black maids in the 1960's in Jackson, Mississippi. The white upper class, contrasted with the poverty of the black maids who worked for them was woven into an interesting novel about race, discrimination and the early civil rights movement.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family and friends are a great source of pride and fun. I just love being around them and hanging out. I love to travel with them.
  2. I love being a nurse and the small speciality that I do. I have a great job and work is very important to me.
  3. My parents were a big influence on me and I am very grateful for their encouragement and direction in my early life

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am alot of fun and enjoy life. Many people think I am a workaholic...I'm not. My motto is work hard...play hard

Friends Describe me as

Energetic, Happy, Hard Working, Optimistic
