More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about sports. I greatly enjoy watching football and I help coach wrestling. I like to stay physically active when time permits. I like to go out at night, but in calmer settings where I can actually talk to the people I am out with.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy staying physically active and on the flip side, I enjoy staying in and playing video games from time to time. I used to play games far too much but I play much less now. I am more then happy to just read or watch TV or just sit in and chat with friends.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone that is fun to be around, doesn't take life too seriously, and enjoys life for what its worth. I can honestly say that I am not sure where life will take me at this point, so I tend to not take the little things too seriously and am looking for someone with a similar line of thinking. Someone that likes to go out and enjoy the finer things in life, but not excessively.

The first thing people notice about me

I dislike talking about my "traits." Greatly. Typically it is intelligence. I will be the first to say I am my no means brilliant but I be brainy around others. I always try to not be overconfident when I comes to something that I know about but my friends usually ask me when they have questions about random stuff.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Kitchen Confidential. I watched Anthony Bourdain's show for a long time but never got around to reading his book. It was basically about his life as a cook, and how he progressed from a nobody in the cooking world to an executive chef in New York. I always liked his appreciation for good food and the book was a great and entertaining read.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Having a steady job that enables me to life comfortably even if the hours worked can be difficult at times.
  2. Having a supportive immediate family, that even though not enough time is spent with them, they still care.
  3. Being content with the life that I live and how I live it.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I care about my friends more then I actually show. I usually stay fairly quiet when my friends have problems, unless they come to me directly, but if one of them is having a problem, it is in my nature to try and help them if they want it.
