More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My family, they are the reason, the past, the future, the path of my life. At this time of my life, my work creates passion, thank goodness. It is about creation and legacy in a meaningful way. It is a measure of professional achievement as much as my sons are the measure of personal achievement.

I typically spend my leisure time

Off-road trail biking, particularly in a setting of natural beauty on a bright beautiful day, makes me feel free. Special evening out with fine dining, the Orchestra, and a beautiful black dress on a wonderful woman.

The most influential person in my life has been

Eagarness to find happiness

The first thing people notice about me

A significant presence; hopefully they pick up that I am genuinely agreeable soon after. It is tough looking important all the time especially when it is not my nature only my job.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"The World is Flat" is about the technology leap in the 1990's that I should have read sooner so I could better understand what just happened in the economy. It teaches that diverse developments come together to impact history. "The Blue Ocean" teaches how to transform a business into a leader.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My parents gave me tools to see the world as it is & to make a place for myself to succeed.
  2. My sons gave me pause to see the value of love in making me a complete man.
  3. My brothers who taught me how to share happiness, pain, inspiration, tragedy, opportunity, failure, success, and all that is life.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am happy even when I am not smiling.
