More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

God, church, my family, books, cooking.

I typically spend my leisure time

Surfing the internet

The most influential person in my life has been

A man who is honest, faithful and humble, a true man of God who is passionate about his faith and believes in the bible wholly. I want us to pray together constantly and lift each other up.Also, kind-hearted, with a sense of humor about life in general. Someone who isn't easily angered or irritated and doesn't take out his temper on his wife/family while acting like a nice guy to outsiders. And a man who is family-oriented and isn't materialistic or obsessed with climbing to the top no matter what the cost; someone who can come home at night and eat dinner with his family.

The first thing people notice about me

I tend to be quiet and shy at first and it takes a little while for me to open up to others. But then I can turn goofy, so that surprises people.

The last book I read and enjoyed

John Dies at the End by David Wong. Neither deep nor possessing any real literary value, it's more of a crackfic than anything else, but it's fun.My favorite books are Of Human Bondage by Somerset Maugham and no, it's not about tying people up, and Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. Another favorite is Albert Camus' The Outsider.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. God: generic answer, but belongs in #1 spot.
  2. Family. A great relationship with my entire family, but do have a kickass sister and dad.
  3. At the moment, being healthy. Having a healthy family.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm really shy, quiet and an introvert so I hope people don't end up thinking I'm snotty when I don't approach them first or appear stand-offish; it's just me trying to be more comfortable around new people.
