The most influential person in my life has been

In another person, I am looking for someone who has a great sense of humor - that is a must! There must be at least one conversation a week between us that leaves with with tears of laughter!

The first thing people notice about me

I think one of the things that stands out to people about me is my drive. I'm very focused, hard-working, and organized and that comes out in the way I carry myself.

The last book I read and enjoyed

After reading The Hunger Games, I went a little bit crazy with the dystopia genre. I'm currently reading a book called Wither, but my last read was The Selection by Kiera Cass. Synopsis: (Insert crazy utopian world). People are born into or can marry up into new "castes" referred to as numbers - with 1's being the highest-up. Each caste looks down on the ones below it and everyone knows their place. The prince, a 1, of (crazy utopian world) is looking for a bride. Girls from the 8 different castes are invited to "apply" and they are basically entered into The Bachelor.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My 4-year-old nephew. He is the most amazing little kid and means SO much to me. He is a huge part of my life and I wish he would stay a little kid forever!
  2. My education - I feel extremely blessed to have had the education that I have had growing up. From public school, to boarding school, to a top ten university - I have never taken my education for granted. I know that most people in the world are not as fortunate, and I am thankful for every hard exam, every all-nighter, for every standardized test that got me to where I am today.
  3. My friends - I only have a few true, but they are the people that I can count on in any and every situation
