More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm passionate about life, meeting new people, fostering friendships, contributing to society, doing well at my job, and always learning new things. I make a conscious effort to step out of my comfort zone regularly.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy spending time with my friends, exploring the city, and trying new things.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for someone who is a clear and direct communicator. I don't like to play games and do my best to always be honest and open about what is on my mind, while maintaining a high level of respect and understanding.

The first thing people notice about me

Even in brief day to day encounters, people notice that I'm incredibly genuine. I like to get to know what makes people tick and really care to learn about others' outlooks on life.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I read a lot of business books, industry reports and journals. The actual last book I read was slightly embarrassing, it was an advanced guide on VBA programming in MS Excel. In terms of fiction, it is equally embarrassing, since I read the 50 Shades of Grey series, but in my defense it was right after finishing graduate school and I don't usually read that type of fiction (since it kind of sucks). My favorite book is, "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. the support of my family and friends
  2. the amazing opportunities I have been afforded in my life thus far
  3. the possibilities that tomorrow brings

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I can seem very agreeable and passive at times when I'm getting to know someone, but it is mostly to understand how they think and react to different situations. Once I know someone, I'm very outspoken. Also, some people confuse my generally pleasant disposition with being naive or innocent. That is not the case at all, I simply choose not to have a jaded attitude toward life or people.

Friends Describe me as

Ambitious, Genuine, Optimistic, Perceptive

A little more about me

I'm looking for someone who is my equal. Someone who can handle me being a smarty pants, as well as a smart ass. (Pardon my french!) I'm quite accomplished, but I firmly believe in not taking myself too seriously.
