More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

When I was in my early 20's I was very intense and passionate about me reaching the highest levels of my athletic career. I sacrificed alot of time from friends and family to prepare for multiple competitions over those years. I started getting my priorities straight in my mid 20's and started settling down from competition, established myself in my coaching career and was ready to settle down with who I thought wasthe love of my life.(I know it sounds cliche) But I was tired of competing and just wanted to heal physically and enjoy a new path in life with someone special. And enjoy the time i missed with family from the years of training.

I typically spend my leisure time

walking my dogs(beagles), going out to eat, watching movies & attending sporting events.

The most influential person in my life has been

A nice person, good sense of humor, who is not stuck up. Can appreciate some brash humor, can tolerate dogs- does not have to be an animal lover but that would be a plus. Can appreciate some nostalgia from some corny 80's movies. Not afraid to laugh at themselves.

The first thing people notice about me

I can come across as shy

The last book I read and enjoyed

"A Dog's Journey." it was the sequel to my favorite book"A Dog's Purpose," it is about the soul of a dog through the dog's perspective as he lives multiple lives and is reincarnated and lives the life of many dogs of different sizes. Along his journey he meets and loves many human companions but specifically loves his "boy" Ethan. A Dog's Journey follows the Dog as he lives his life protecting and accompanying one of Ethan's grandchildren all the way to her Adulthood. I love the relationship between the Dog and what he refers to as "his boy" Ethan. The author's description truly captures the intense bond between Man and Dog.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Stable job (knock on wood)
  2. Good relationship with father
  3. love for dogs and health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I am very loyal to my immediate loved ones(close friends and family)

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Genuine, Loyal, Passionate

A little more about me

Forewarned I do swear a bit. But I do know how to treat a lady. I can be a little shy at times and and do take a min to open up. I like to laugh just as much as anybody, and when I do open up I tend to lay out all my cards on the table. I do tend to have some old fashioned trains of thought.
