The last book I read and enjoyed

I always have four or five books on the nightstand. photo finish for last two:1. A moment in Peking, Lin Yutang 1939Follows the family of a Taoist doctor from the Boxer rebellion (1898) until the invasion of Nanking (1937). Really enjoyed the sense of Mandarin life and the turn of the last century. I have walked many of the streets and been in several of the buildings mentioned in the book which made it a cool read.2. Light comes through, Dzigar KongtrulAn insightful teacher, he speaks to our relationship to our life and the lives of those around us and how to more skillfully navigate that whole scene!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My Children who are a part of my heart always.
  2. I am thankful for the Dharma and the wise and compassionate teachers I have had the good fortune to be in relationship with.
  3. I am thankful for Chinese Medicine and It's role in how I view life. The years of patients opening their lives to me and allowing me to be a part of their healing.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I suppose it would be that I don't really have any hidden agendas. I'm pretty straightforward.
