More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Animals, health, progress, goodwill.

I typically spend my leisure time

Spending time with friends and family.Playing with my dogs and cats.Doing whatever random thing makes me happy at that moment.

The most influential person in my life has been

I don't really have specific expectations. I just hope to meet someone who is true to themselves, honest with others and knows how to be happy with life.

The first thing people notice about me

My smile. It's never far away, and I'm told it's very warm. I'm just a happy person, so I smile easily!

The last book I read and enjoyed

American Gods, by Neil Gaiman. A story involving the gods that were brought to America by the belief of those who settled there, most notably Norse gods. I loved how every character, even if they were only there for a page or two, told a story all of their own within the greater story of the whole book. Left a lasting impression on me.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The way my parents raised me; to be my own person, not weighed down or influenced by their beliefs, ideals and preconceptions. They've always been there to support where I want to take my life, no matter how different or similar to theirs it may be.
  2. The fortune I've had by meeting the right people at college, that helped set me on this path of life I'm now walking. I was on a very different one when I started, but those people (instructors, friends and doctors) helped me find what truly fulfills me.
  3. The universe; as cheesy as it sounds, it's true. I could get into a great big philosophical spiel about stars and atoms and whatnot, but I'll keep it short. I am thankful for the millions upon millions of random chances that led to my creation, and for the exploding stars that gave me the atoms in my body.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I have a scar/lack of pigment in one iris, and it always seems to stand out to me but very few people notice it.

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Good listener, Happy, Warm

A little more about me

I'm an oddball, in more than a few ways. My mind takes strange courses of thought; I tend to let it run, and see where it leads me. I enjoy things that few people I know also enjoy, most frequently music. I am a gamer, but only so long as the game stays fun. I play video games, card games, table-top games, dice games. I only truly enjoy a game when it's shared with others, playing something just for myself is dull.I'm very laid back and calm, and find myself content almost anywhere I am.I'm an animal lover, be it dogs, cats, birds, horses, cows, kangaroos, you name it. Although, cats will always have a special place for me.
