More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Living in a way that ultimately glorifies God, loves and serves others, and strives to do the most good is what I'm passionate about. I would love to find someone with similar goals to share the beauty and the challenges of life with.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love being with those close to me, making and eating good food. I'm always up for a new adventure. I love to ski and snowboard, hike, fish, and camp. I will never turn down a road trip; I love seeing new places and it's my dream to travel (especially to places where I can help others in need.)Next up: learning how to rock climb.

The most influential person in my life has been

-A passion for loving Christ and following him, and learning to see others the way he would. -Trustworthiness. -A warm heart. I believe that it's unfair to set standards for someone else if you don't hold yourself to them. So these are some which I personally have for myself as well. :)

The first thing people notice about me

I am good at making others feel at ease and comfortable around me. I love learning about others and people seem to warm up to me quickly and want to share their lives...sometimes without even being asked haha. I've often been told I give good advice. I'm playful and love to laugh.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Currently have my nose in "The Unlikely Disciple." The book was written by a journalism student from Brown who decided to spend a semester at Liberty University. He gives a fair and very eye-opening perspective of one of the nation's most conservative Christian colleges. It's well-written, challenging, and hopeful. I like books like this because I love getting a chance to see the world through someone else's eyes.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Grace.
  2. Loving and being loved.
  3. A good slice of pizza is always nice.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That they can let down their guard and be themselves around me without having to worry.

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

I believe the best relationships start with amazing friendships. Call me old-fashioned but I would way rather be pursued in a relationship than be the pursuer.
