The one thing I am passionate about...
More than one thing~~~ Stargazing, sunrises and sunsets, moon rises and the occasional early morning full moon setting are a few of my passions. I enjoy listening and dancing to live music, day trips, weekend trips, bird watching and fireplaces, both indoor and out.
I typically spend my leisure time
Hunting for treasures in used book stores or antique shops, and exploring new eateries and hotspots in town are fun. Spending a few hours curled in front of a fire or in the sun with a good book or a good friend are also a few guilty pleasures. Pulp Fiction is also a must every few years!
The most influential person in my life has been
Openness, passions, and a willingness to to truly enjoy the blessings life has to offer are essential characteristics I am looking for in anyone I choose spend quality time with.
The first thing people notice about me
My warmth and compassion
The last book I read and enjoyed
I enjoy books on spirituality as well as romance novels, and have an ongoing relationship with "Animal Speak" which I use constantly as a reference to give me insights into the spirituality of nature around me.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- I am thankful for having raised four beautiful successful children ranging in age from 19 to 37 andmy three grandsons.
- I am excited to be at this time in my life where I can finally learn to play.
- I am happy to be in a space where I enjoy my own company almost as much as being with others at times.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I am extremely sensitive, almost to the point of absorbing others emotions and so may at times appear to be aloof in certain overly energized environments.
Friends Describe me as
Genuine, Happy, Passionate, Warm
A little more about me
I enjoy walking barefoot on grass (doing so in this desert is like finding an oasis), having a hummingbird hover so close to me I have to remind myself she's not a bee, quiet evenings stargazing, watching sunrises, moon rises and sunsets, and yes, those occasional early morning full moon sets. Would you pull over to let me take a picture of a rainbow, or just to let me watch a raven drift in the currents on a windy day? Maybe even dance with me in the kitchen to Moomdance? Is so then we may have something in common!
