More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

This question is difficult, there are so many things I enjoy and get very excited about, from art to music to movies. I guess my passion is entertainment. I love being swept up in the big screen, emotionally soothed by music, or visually engaged by creativity. It's such a vast world, I get so much pleasure from being introduced to new sounds or works. Plus, who doesn't like a good old fashion movie night.

I typically spend my leisure time

My free time is limited currently due to school and work. When I do come across time for myself I do a few things; I go see movies and get caught up on the new releases. I like to draw or read. Lastly I play quit a bit of video games from console to PC.

The most influential person in my life has been

Sense of humor, I love the lighter side of life.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished reading World War Z, yeah I know a book about Zombies, but it was fantastic. I really enjoyed the way it was written. The story was told by a reporter who interviews a few people, giving their side of story on the "outbreak". Great book, hope the movie lives up.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Number one in my life is my son, he is the best of me and none of the bad.
  2. I am very close to my two sisters, and the open communication and unconditional love we share is unparalleled.
  3. I am thankful for second chances, I am an older college student and find it very comforting that we live in a country that allows us to correct our wrongs with education at any age.
