The one thing I am passionate about...
My first and longstanding passion is travel and adventure. I like to explore the many cities where I've lived and plan trips to visit new places. I want to try new foods and experience new customs. I find that all of these activities are more fulfilling with a companion. And then recently I discovered that I have some artistic talent and try to spend time creating mosaics. I look at many objects and wonder how that would translate to a picture that I could mosaic and would it look better in tile or in glass?
I typically spend my leisure time
I play with my mosaics at least a few hours a week. I enjoy the process of creating something out of bits and pieces. I walk by the bay, enjoying San Diego and it's great weather, compared to a few other places I've lived, especially in the winter!
The most influential person in my life has been
Sense of humor, along with a great laugh, is the most important. Moving forward, enjoying life, each day at a time. Enjoying life, but feeling that experiencing it with someone will be fun also. Must like cats, red wine, travel, coffee, adventures, chocolate.
The first thing people notice about me
My smile, and I have lots to smile about. I enjoy life and am definitely a glass full person.
The last book I read and enjoyed
My favorite books are all science fiction. Ender's Game, Stranger in a Strange Land. I enjoy the different worlds created by the writers so fascinating, and yet the human interactions are familiar.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- I am thankful for my friends, who help me and let me help them, with laughter and fun.
- I am thankful for my family, although far away, ALWAYS come through for me.
- I am thankful for spirit. Give thanks, let go and let God.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I'm a morning person. Not sure how that happened as I was a late night person until a few years ago. Although my mornings go better with coffee...
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Happy, Optimistic, Thoughtful
A little more about me
I'm interested in finding someone to share time with. Discussing a movie, book, or politics over dinner or a glass of wine. How great is your capacity for adventures, large or small, far away or next door?
