The one thing I am passionate about...
I absolutely love the simple things in life. I am a goal oriented person, but I believe in appreciating what you have as well. I make every effort to try and be grateful and aware of the blessings I have. I am very into my faith and spirituality. I don't use it as a wall to stand behind and judge others, but my beliefs are important to me nonetheless and guide me through this life. Music is vital to me. I have absolutely no musical talent, which is unfortunate, but I still love it and can't go a day without it. Spending time with my close friends and family keeps me sane and happy. I love humor and laughter and can't live without it!
I typically spend my leisure time
First would be spending time with family and friends doing anything at all really. I find myself easily entertained when I'm having good conversation and laughing with those around me. I love to spend time outside, especially in the summer when I can grill out or head to the lake (which is my personal happy place!). I just like getting out and about and seeing new places...as a Southern girl, being out in nature or even just riding backroads is fun to me. And again, last but not least, give me music to listen to! If there is a chance for live music, I'm there!
The most influential person in my life has been
I want someone first and foremost who has a set of core values similar to mine. I love people who are optimistic and try to see the positive side of any situation. Laughter and humor are so vital to me, so I would want someone to share that with...whether we are throwing banter back and forth at each other or just being silly. I want someone who has goals and strives to meet them, but isn't going to let himself be so wrapped up that he can't take time and enjoy the litlte moments. Also, someone who is logical and grounded and can be a solid, stable, and supportive person. Loyal, honest, trustworthy, and respectful of other people are musts.
The first thing people notice about me
Physically, my smile or eyes are the things that people comment on most. However, as soon as I speak, people talk about my sense of humor. I LOVE to laugh, and am such a neverending goofball. I've been told I should be a stand-up comedian by numerous people, and I hope that's a good thing! Haha!
The last book I read and enjoyed
I love a good work of fiction. I recently read Jodi Picoult's "Change of Heart." The premise is a death row inmate wants to be executed by hanging versus lethal injection because he wants to donate his heart to a little girl who needs a transplant. The problem is, her mother just happens to be the mother and wife of the little girl and man he is on death row for murdering. It brings up a lot of perspectives on the death penalty and salvation. It's very layered and VERY good. I love her and have read all of her novels because you get so lost in the stories and the characters and they all make you question what you believe on certain issues.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My grandparents. I lucked out and managed to have them around for my childhood...
- My independence. I am so blessed/grateful to be able to take care of myself...
- My sense of humor. Not gonna lie, I crack myself up! It really helps manage stress sometimes!
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I have been told many times by many people that I'm an "old soul." I think people miss my deeper, or softer side if you will, because of my humor.

A little more about me
I really don't know what more to say. I have a hard time describing myself. Just know that the people in my life are incredibly important to me, I'm extremely loyal, and try to carry myself well.
