More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm very passionate about furthering my education. Any sort of learning is great for me though, and I love sharing bits of trivia whenever I can. Currently I am in college taking my first steps towards becoming a veterinarian, my dream job. I love animals and own two cats. I also enjoy many movies and tv shows, as well as video games of any genre.

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, watching TV, video games, walking, hanging out with friends, talking to others, playing with my pets, or doing homework or housework.I tend to lean towards watching a tv show or playing games though, unless I'm spending time with friends.

The most influential person in my life has been

I am looking for someone who I could consider to be my best friend. I want someone who I just enjoy spending my time with, and who I look forward to talking to/hanging out with. A good sense of humor is also a plus as I love to tell jokes for fun or to lighten up the mood.

The first thing people notice about me

I am a very quiet person around new people, but I tend to open up quickly and can be very talkative if I hit it off with someone or if it's just the right conversation. I'm always willing to give anyone a chance when it comes to conversation, everyone has something interesting to say.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read was That is All by John Hodgeman. It's a pretty fun book, mostly random and filled with a lot of weird, random humor and satire with some intelligent jokes thrown in as well. I like books that are more upbeat or funny and that have good stopping points throughout as I usually read in short bursts (bus rides, between classes, etc.). I still enjoy a good horror or suspense as well, though. My favorite book would probably be The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams, the second book in the Hitchhiker's Guide five-part trilogy.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My friends
  2. My family
  3. My education

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Dependable, Good listener, Rational

A little more about me

I'm mostly a relaxed person, but I'm serious when need be. I really want to travel the country/planet when I have the time and money. I started cooking a little over a year ago and it's become a major passion. I love trying new things (I recently discovered I like bell peppers), and sharing my food with others.
