More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am very passionate about staying active and energized. I am passionate about my work with children, but also in furthering my career. It is very important to me to make time in my life for the people closest to me. I am very close to my parents and siblings and love spending time with them and my closest friends.

I typically spend my leisure time

Free time is spent reading, usually at a coffee shop so I can people watch in between chapters. I like to run or go to the gym with some upbeat music. To top it off, I can either stay in and watch a great tv series on dvd or go out with some girlfriends.

The most influential person in my life has been

Somebody who is confident, loyal and proud to be with me. Somebody who can be there for me through the rough times, and make the good times even better. I love to laugh and be silly, so having someone around who brings that out in me is a plus.

The first thing people notice about me

I can be very reserved with people I just meet. So, people probably take that as me either acting snooty, or just plain shy. I am not snooty, just shy at first ;)

The last book I read and enjoyed

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. It a fictional story about a boy who lost his father. It goes above and beyond this though. I loved the incredibly unique aspect of this book. Since it is written mostly from the boy's point of view, it has such intense innocence. It really touches you deep down to the core.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family. They are my support system. Need I say more?
  2. My friends, old and new. I have my closest friends from highschool and it still amazes me that we have managed to remain so close.
  3. My health and active lifestyle.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I wish people would notice that I have a pretty laid back personality. Because of my initial shyness with new people, it takes a minute to see that it's just that I don't act fake. I am not overly bubbly or super bitchy. I have a very chill demeanor and like to get to know people before they get a taste of my more fun, silly side.

Friends Describe me as
