The one thing I am passionate about...
What is so important to me is "self improvement". Understanding where other people are coming from and not to judge people too harshly because of where they have come from. I truly believe that it's the "extreme" sector of our society that is pulling us down. I struggle with why people have to go so far to the left or right in either religion, politics, relationships, etc...
I typically spend my leisure time
Reading a good book or watching a good classic movie. Going out to have a nice relaxing meal with good friends. Having a good swim and sitting in the sauna and sweating out the bad stuff! Working and creating with old wood.
The most influential person in my life has been
I believe in "Freewill". In other words, letting people feel, act, and do what they want to do to be happy without manipulating or controlling them. Forgiveness in not only other people, but in themselves. We are all human and need to remember that we learn from our mistakes and should move on.
The first thing people notice about me
I truly believe that my friends know that I truly love people.
The last book I read and enjoyed
The Flood--great book. A bit dark about the plight of our world, but great read.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My health and being able to be active and work hard
- My family and friends and that we are so lucky to have each other.
- To live in a country where your ideas and beliefs don't get you thrown in jail...ie....religion, polictical, etc.....
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That's a tuff, tuff question. It would have to be the fact that I do appear to have life roped in pretty fairly well, but I do struggle with many issues. Such as politics, corporate greed, moral issues, environmental issues, etc... I come off as a care free person, but down deep I worry about all of that.
Friends Describe me as
Good listener, Hard Working, Optimistic, Respectful
A little more about me
As they they---"the mind can only comprehend what it comprehends". With that said, I hope that my outlook of myself is as close as I could reasonably get.
