The one thing I am passionate about...
I love the mountains. I love the lake. I love adventures. Passionate about art shows/museums and historical museums. Currently quite interested in genealogy. Road Trip? I can be ready to go in 15 minutes. I have lived in many different places, and have seen most of the US (haven't seen fall in Vermont yet). Rock and roll baby. I am Canadian. My family ( my sister and brother) are very important to me. I want to see the world....Paris (the Mona Lisa, etc), London, the Maldives, Iceland and Denmark (that is my heritage)...the Cistine Chapel, the statue of David, the Amsterdam museum, Lake Com0, and eat French fries in Bruges.
I typically spend my leisure time
I have had so little leisure times in the past few years....I was caring for my late husband...I barely left the house in the last 2 years. I love to read Historical Non-Fiction.The lake? Camping? Fishing? Junking and antequeing? I'M in!!!!!
The most influential person in my life has been
I am looking for a hard working guy who likes to have fun and enjoy the finer things in life. This doesn't. mean I don't drink beer.....aye! I am Canadian. If. You are into cars and Harleys....OK by me.
The first thing people notice about me
Usually my eyes.....they are not really the same color....one is really green, but sometimes the other one is blue.
The last book I read and enjoyed
HERO. By Michael Korda...the biography of T.E. Lawrence aka Lawrence of Arabia..?.I read a lot of historical non fiction, but the last few of my choices were poorly written
The three things which I am most thankful for
- I am thankful that my late husband is no longer in pain and struggling to live.
- I am thankful for my rock, my sister.
- I am thankful that I have the wherewithal to live in comfort.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Iwish people could discern whether I am joking or just being an asshole. I do the world's greatest impression of Siegfriend and Roy. I have a rather skewed view of life, and I really enjoy being a card and making people laugh.
Friends Describe me as
