More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Oh gosh there are several things that I am deeply passionate about. Simple things like a good cup of coffee in the morning. Making dinner for my family and friends. Laughing so hard it hurts. I adore anything that is going to get my heart pumping and my mind racing like running or intriguing conversations of the day. Soccer... chocolate (yum)..music..art.. Life is full of so many things to be passionate about!

I typically spend my leisure time

I love working out and spend a lot of time being active. I like to run, cycle, hike and weight lift. Other things I enjoy doing are cooking and baking, reading, hanging out with my friends and family.

The most influential person in my life has been

I?m not really one for list when it comes to what I am looking for in a person. Honestly, I am not expecting Mr. Perfect, and nor would I want someone so perfect since flaws are what make a person special. There are qualities that I respect in a person, but at the end of day it simply comes down to: can we make each other laugh so much that we wouldn?t want to be with anyone else? I?m just looking for someone to enjoy the simple things of life with. Someone who will go to the opera or museum with me, get dirty playing soccer or hiking, enjoy good food and a bottle of wine, or just relaxing on the couch watching a movie.

The first thing people notice about me

Either my energy level or my funny mix of an accent (southern at times, New Yorker at others, and Italian. Most likely though my energy; I'm pretty much smiling and happy all the time. I like to wake up each day and think of everything I am grateful for in my life-that always brings a smile to my face and a pep in my step.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I love to read and many times I read 2-3 books a week not including magazines and newspapers. I especially have a fondness for science/medical genre (Yes, I am nerd). I have recently read: The social animal-which is basically about human behavior and science all rolled up into fiction. Freedom: A Novel, which is also again about human behavior and society. Last book, Cooking for Geeks-I did say I was a nerd!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. For my life and all the experiences (good and bad).
  2. My family and friends because without them I wouldn't know love, kindness and compassion.
  3. The opportunity to have an education.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

i wouldn't say it is something I wish for, because I am perfectly happy with who I am. However, if I were to pick one thing it would be that sometimes people are surprised how strong I am. I think because I am a small gal that sometimes people don't realize how strong I am (mentally and physically).

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

This might be a bit silly, but a few honest truths about me: 1) I adore laughing!Making others laugh, and just sharing in the moment of happiness. 2) I am extremely passionate about cooking and baking. Especially for others and will feed everyone willingly. 3) I'm a mix of growing up in small Southern town, New York transplant parents, and a strong European-Mediterranean family. 4) I am clumsy.5) I?m not perfect. Lastly, I am just looking for someone to make happy, have intriguing conversations with, laugh the years away, grow old together, be there for all the good, bad, awkward, and silly moments, and think everyday how blessed I am.
