More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

If I had to pick the thing I am most passionate about it would be intrigue. This is the one thing that would most easily classify the majority of my interests, such as reading, t.v., and movies, as well as politics and business. I need some sort of excitement in my life, and I personally get that from the people I am with, the entertainment I choose, and the poetry I write/ get involved with. In a simple list it would be : books, politics, (slam) poetry, t.v., movies, and games of all sorts, especially role playing and strategy games.

I typically spend my leisure time

To be honest I put so much into my work and studies(or recently getting back into school) that in my time off I am most drawn to relaxing activities such as staying in and hanging out with friends, or going out for a relaxing activity and maybe some drinks.

The first thing people notice about me

I am a person of principle who stands firm to what he believes, this is something people notice fairly quickly about me because it is one of the largest things that makes me who I am.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family: My mother is a strong and caring woman who has given everything she has and more to make sure I was raised well and cared for. My Step-father is a difficult and hard man but is largely responsible for teaching me the importance of being a stand up guy, and teaching me what that means. And my parent friends are the greatest examples of what it means when people say "it takes a village"
  2. My Friends: Much like my parents, I have a diverse group of amazing people who have been there for me through thick and thin. I truly believe that you can learn a lot by the company a person keeps and I have never once been hesitant to let my friends be a metric by which I am judged.
  3. My brains: This may sound a little full of myself, but in a world where people judge incredibly quickly and shallowly there are few who can overcome initial classifications. But thanks to the combination of real world experiences, and a love of books and higher learning I have been able to prove to myself that I can.
