More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Choosing happiness. Life is too short to be miserable.

I typically spend my leisure time

Well, if I'm at home I'll work on hobbies, read, try my hand at cooking or watch some t.v. Recently I've started playing board games with friends. I ended up with a bloody nose after a friendly night of playing the card game "spoons" but I totally got the spoon so it was worth it. If I'm out in the world I love to travel, try new things (most recently I'm learning to play the cello and ice skate) or get active (skiing, tennis, bowling - I'm a jack of all trades but a master of none.) I'm not much for shopping but I could spend all day at a good book store. (I don't - but I could.)

The most influential person in my life has been

I'd like to meet someone who enjoys life, both the adventurous times and the quite at home times. Someone who can be happy with their life because I really believe that life is what you make it.

The first thing people notice about me

Hmmm... outgoing people tell me I'm shy. Shy people tell me I'm outgoing. I guess that places me square in the middle of the spectrum.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished "Madam Tussaud" about the woman who made wax figures during the French Revolution. It was much darker than I had expected but it's the French Revolution so I shouldn't have been surprised by all the death. Makes me wish there was a Madam Tussaud's in Portland.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. family and friends
  2. having adventures
  3. a job I love

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I can name all 50 states in alphabetical order. One of my many useless talents that amuses me.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Funny, Happy, Optimistic

I am
Centrist/Middle of the Road

Sports I enjoy playing

Hiking, Skiing or Snowboarding
