More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love cooking. Having a lot of fun. My family and friends. I also love cars and spending time detailing them (it is time to myself and I get immediate satisfaction when they are clean and look great).

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading about sports and great articles in the paper (especially positive articles about people doing great things). I really enjoy traveling to major sports venues and taking nice vacations.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is real and is comfortable with who they are. It is important for me to be myself and hope the other person is the same.

The first thing people notice about me

My confidence and maturity. My parents have always told me "I was born old." Like George Bailey on "It's a Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart. I like to have fun but know when to dial it down.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"It Never Rains in Tiger Stadium" It's about a young guy who worked hard to start on the offensive line at LSU. He describes his passion for the game and the relationship with his coaches and teammates. When he is done with football he has a hard time moving on until he pursues a writing career and ends up being a successful sports writer. Having played football I really enjoyed hearing about the great times of another athlete.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My ability to to handle difficult situations and new challenges in a calm and collected way. I have moved 10 times and in doing so have learned to adapt well in new surroundings.
  2. My family! I have a great family that I have shared many great experiences with. I have learned a lot from my family in particular a love of life, the drive to do well at everything I do, and to respect others. My family is small but very close. It means a lot that my friends respect my love of my family.
  3. I am very thankful to have a good career. I grew up in the CPG industry and love the dynamics of it. I have seen how well you can provide for yourself and your family by way of a good job. I thrive in new situations and love the challenges that come everyday. It is important to have the ability to provide for others in my life. I am thankful to have this opportunity.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am a caring person who does not always say it but I always show it through actions. Whether it's cooking, helping with a difficult situation, or simply doing something a little extra. Sometimes it takes getting to know me a little to understand.

Friends Describe me as

Ambitious, Dependable, Easy-Going, Hard Working
