More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about my family, faith, home, entertaining, giving back and travel. I love almost all sports; art, music and movies are my hobbies.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love tennis, reading, gardening. Also, spending time with friends is always at the top of the list. Then again, I need my quiet time when things get too crazy and I don't mind being at home relaxing. Sometimes I get great pleasure puttering in the kitchen cooking. I love to feed my family and friends.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is comfortable in their own skin. In other words, someone who has had a successful career and doesn't need to brag about it, someone who thinks of others before himself, someone who is generous, is proud of his family and willing to put time into them. PLUS, a good sense of humor!

The first thing people notice about me

My best quality is I am personable. It is easy for me to talk to people and make others feel comfortable. It comes naturally.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read was "When Character was King" by Peggy Noonan. It is a historical book about Ronald Reagan. Noonan was one of his assistants while he was in the While House. She started with his early life and explored how his character was formed, discussed all that went on during his administration and his political style, ending with the last year of his presidency. Noonan was exhaustive in her research, plus she was there at the While House while all the events took place, so she had a first hand experience. Plus she loved Ronald Reagan so it was positive, but she could be objective.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Really grateful for my three children and our mutual love for each other.
  2. Really grateful for the nice life I've lived so far. I've had lots of good experiences with family, friends and travel.
  3. My health. I am in very good health, with occasional problems

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I have a free spirit and like to try new things spur of the moment. Am always up for something at the last minute---trips, sports, new restaurants, etc.

Friends Describe me as
