More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Health & Wellness; I guess becoming a better version of me.

I typically spend my leisure time

Researching subjects that interest me online, playing video games, listening to music, pursuing fitness, fixing everybody's computer, taking care of my two cats, running 5k extreme obstacle courses, watching movies, eating well, going to indie concerts, and hanging out with friends. Currently I am really interested in ancestral nutrition and evolutionary biology. I have run a marathon and been skydiving, and I'll try almost any type of food.

The most influential person in my life has been

The subjective quality that I am looking for is someone that kicks ass. Somebody that I could rely on as much as they do me, in a hypothetical zombie apocalypse scenario. I am not looking for a precocious coquette but I do still find girly girl stuff attractive, maybe with a geeky twist.

The first thing people notice about me

I can seem very reserved and bashful at first. I guess I already hinted at this in the section about what people don't notice, so... I have been told that I would be an interesting book to read. And a friend who had been drinking told me that I am an individual. But they were drunk, so who knows?

The last book I read and enjoyed

Currently reading my way through a short story collection by various authors titled, "Machine of Death." Each story revolves around the premise of a machine having been invented that predicts with 100% accuracy the future cause of a person's death, with a sometimes vague, sometimes very specific word or phrase. The stories vary from tragic to bleakly humorous and are just great essays about existentialism. Before that it was a humorous fantasy novel titled Mogworld, by Yahtzee Crenshaw. It's about self-aware characters in an online rpg and is very funny and recommended to fans of Douglas Adams.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Being alive and not being a zombie.
  2. I can have coffee, bacon, and chocolate anytime I want!!
  3. There are people smarter than I am, like engineers or whatever.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My t-shirts are usually pretty freaking awesome. I guess I can appear dark and brooding but it's only a front, mostly. I pretty much love everyone and the inherent beauty in them can make me speechless sometimes. Also, I'm pretty sure that I could carry anyone out of a burning building, so I'm handy to have around even if my conversational skills leave something to be desired. Unless I've had an iced venti americanno, then I probably won't shut up about video games or indie records or whatever.

Friends Describe me as

Intelligent, Loyal, Physically Fit, Thoughtful

A little more about me

I'm generally stoic yet joyful, and pretty geeky about some things. I love video/pc games, edgy cartoons, pop art, and pretty much anything that is part of nerdy culture. I'm a huge nerd, geek, dork, or whatever. I appreciate art on multiple levels. I work to live and I'm happy with where I am right now, but I never want to stop learning and I think there is always room for improvement.
