More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Seeking purpose in my life. Touching a hand or a heart. Small gestures, can often equate to great joy. Sincerity is a must, if you don't mean it, don't say it. I like depth of a character. Was once horrified of aging, and now I'm content. Knowing i'v lived at least half of my life, gives critical meaning to what remains. Have spent much of my life being an introvert, but am learning the comforts of others company. Don't like drama. Have big concerns for our environment, natural resources and diminishing wildlife and their habitats .

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy dinners out, sharing a bottle of wine with good conversations. New and old friends. I seem to have an eclectic array of characters in my life, so there is never a shortage of new ideas or a glimpse of alternative thoughts. Learning new interests in fitness, and and striving for nutritional improvement!

The most influential person in my life has been

To be sincere. Genuine. Yielding. To be compassionate to others, and to all living things. To be appreciative of this life and the beauty it contains.

The first thing people notice about me

my composure... calm, and have been told more than once that I have a very quiet strength.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"the Shack" It was about a man and his family's loss of a daughter and a sister. The suffering, guilt, pain, and despair he endured was monumental. Then he met...GOD. It may be the closest interpretation of an intellectual explanation to what can be comprehended as I have ever read. It was of course fiction, but a beautiful grieving story of hope, salvation, and redemption.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My parents
  2. My health
  3. My intellect

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My humor. Can be very dry, and subtle.
