More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Finding the right partner can be considered as something that excites me. I enjoy feeling productive. Music, food, and good art are my passions.

I typically spend my leisure time

Cooking, reading, going for a drive.

The most influential person in my life has been

There is no perfect mate. I do not believe in love at first sight. I do believe that I seek a realistic partner willing to love and grow together rather than apart. There will be conflicts/fights, but at the end of the day, after all hurts are said and done--I seek a partner willing to stay in it and not throw in the towel. This is not a focus on the negative. It is me being realistic. I think a lot of break ups occur due to not knowing how to communicate emotion and not willing to work things out. I'm willing to risk to find that loving, reliable partner, are you?

The first thing people notice about me

I don't know what people notice. Let's think. When I come in and introduce myself to patients, they notice my professionalism. They have told me that they notice my attitude, and that I have the proper compassion level to be a good nurse. I like it when they tell me they feel that I do care. Physically? Patients inform me of my genuine smile, definitely my curly hair, and my bilateral forearm tattoos (they are Haida-style orcas).

The last book I read and enjoyed

Eat to Live.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My profession
  2. My family
  3. My perseverance

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm more sensitive and insightful than I might appear, and am rather shy. I am a work in progress with a desire to always improve and learn. I am currently in DHA program online. I am from San Diego and am still getting used to VA (I moved here 3 years ago to be an oncology nurse). For some reason, people are surprised that I am intelligent...I never understood that. I am able to put anyone at ease and make them laugh which helps when I am with patients--they know I am genuine and care. I am incredibly goofy once the stoic exterior is overlooked.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Energetic, Funny, Generous

A little more about me

I'm really not sure what to write other than type that I am simply seeking to find another human being to share time with outside of just friendship.I love my friends, they are loyal and supportive. It would be very rewarding to be able to spend time with another in pure comfort and affection on a different level--I'm ready. I do not need another human being to complete me as I am very self-reliant and independent; however, it would be highly dishonest of me to not admit that I'd like to have a partner with whom I can further enjoy life.

Very Liberal
