More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm one who enjoys being in social settings more than being in formal settings. I enjoy the company of dogs, but am away from home with work too long to have a happy canine. I do have 2 cats in the home, a female feral cat, who has adopted me, and her son, whom she brought inside before he opened his eyes.I enjoy playing softball and golf, and love being outdoors when the weather permits. Living where life is at a slower pace is my style. After growing up in the city, I've found country living is more for me.

I typically spend my leisure time

It all depends on what weather is like, and where my energy level is. There are times that I enjoy quiet nights at home, and other times where I will enjoy going out, hopefully to a place that is not extremely crowded, because I do like to be able to think and not scream to talk to those around me. I do enjoy playing games outdoors, including softball, golf, and cornhole.

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty and loyalty are the 2 most important qualities I am seeking. Those qualities make a person trustworthy, which will allow me to open up more readily.

The first thing people notice about me

I am very approachable, so many people find me easy to talk with. When it comes to appearance, my baby blues are often mentioned.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm not an avid reader, but I will occasionally pick up the George RR Martin series A Song of Ice and Fire. I like the fact that there's some historical aspects, even though the series is considered fantasy. The author is very good about character development, and making the readers either love or hate the characters.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family
  2. Friends
  3. As much as I don't like making life about work, but my job.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I know I'm not the most fit man in the world, but that doesn't define who I am. I'm funny, fiercely loyal, very easy to talk to, and ambitious. You might be surprised who you find if you take time to get to know me.

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Energetic, Genuine, Loyal

A little more about me

I'm a walking paradox. Simple yet complex, goal driven but easy going. I am very approachable, but never seek to be the center of attention. I can go on and on, but I won't bore you yet.I have a sense of humor that would never be considered politically correct, but can make comments that will probably split your sides. I do know when to turn off the smart comments though.I had used smokeless tobacco for many years. Working on quitting, been nicotine free since mid July 2015!I'm not a small guy by any means, but pretty much everyone I know likes me, though I tend to keep the number of close friends pretty small.
