More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Life in general and making the most out of mine. I'm passionate about being a successful individual who knows what she wants and knows how to get it. I lost both my parents to cancer this year and it's made me realize more than ever before how very short life is and how important it is to live each day to the fullest. As my Dad always used to say, "Do whatever you want to do in life, but love it and never regret it, because life is a beautiful privilege."

I typically spend my leisure time

My leisure time is usually spent either catching up with friends, fun projects around the house or relaxing with a good book or movie

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who must have a sense of humor. The way to my heart is through laughter and nothing else. You can keep your diamonds and flowers and chocolates, etc....but if you can make me laugh?? You've got a friend for life. Of course I also like someone who is confident, intelligent, good looking blah blah blah, the usual we all want.....come on, we're all adults, I shouldn't have to point the basics and then obvious out for ya ;)

The first thing people notice about me

My wit and sense of humor, I will find a way to make fun of anything, so if you take yourself too seriously, you have too much time on your hands

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read happens to be written by a friend of mine, Kerry Max Cook, that I met in '99 through a mutual friend and it's called Chasing Justice. It's a true account about how he spent 22 years on death row in Texas for a crime he didn't commit. Excellently written, I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning just how wicked our justice system can be at times. DNA evidence cleared him of all charges in the early 2000's and yet today, he is still trying to clear his name and his record. It's a must read, go out and get it....now! Why are you still here? Go get the book! lol

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My friends who support me but who also know when I need a good kick in the arse
  2. My religious beliefs that help me get through the tough days
  3. Knowing when not to take life too seriously and just sit back and laugh at the situation

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I would have to say....that although the exterior may seem tough as nails, inside I'm just like everyone else.....I cry, I bleed and I can get hurt

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Genuine, Intelligent, Loyal

A little more about me

A little more about me? Let's see 39 years in how many characters am I allowed to type? Ok, here goes I'm European originally from Romania, came to the states in 1982, I'm fluent in both Romanian and English. I lived in Los Angeles '82-'88 and there's nothing like the Whittier earthquake of '87 to move my family and I to Dallas real damn quick. I was a banker for 12 years and in '05 changed careers to market research. Oh and in between all that, hung out at the mall, played with my friends, attended a ton of concerts, fought with my girlfriends over boys, etc...that about do it for ya?
