The one thing I am passionate about...
I?m most passionate about my son. He was born in 2011 and my life has never been better. I?m passionate about helping others which is why I became a Registered Nurse. Those who know me best would say my sense of humor is my strongest trait but I disagree I thinks it?s my humility. I have tons and tons of humility; intact, you could say I?m the most humble person in all of FL. Some may say I?m the most humble person in all of the U.S.A. but I think that?s taking things too far ... because I?m humble. - FYI the whole humble thing is a joke. I try not to take myself to serious and I love to laugh. Life without humor is no life at all.
I typically spend my leisure time
Time with my six year old, enjoying the arts, watching TV, staying up to date on new medical protocols, bike riding, making fun of golfers, video games, reading, and going to Bush Gardens. Also, other stuff.
The most influential person in my life has been
Kindness - someone who is non judgmental and looks for the goodness in other people. Sense of Humor - take, tell or appreciate all kinds of humor. Charity - someone who has in the past, present or plans on giving back to the community in their own way (volunteer, donation, etc). Active Lifestyle -someone who enjoys physical activities. Intelligent - I don?t mean advance degrees or a member of Mensa but someone who is well read, someone who can carry a conversation about science, politics, arts, or humanities. Cultured - someone who appreciates the arts.
The first thing people notice about me
I have no idea. I never felt the need to ask the people I know, ?hay bud, what?s the first thing you noticed about me when we met?. Is that like I thing people do? I must have been absent the day they thought that in grammar school.
The last book I read and enjoyed
A series of books about Philosophy. Each book is related to some form of popular culture (Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Matrix, etc.) and contain several essays on how elements of philosophy from Immanuel Kant to John Locke can be found in popular culture. It has taught me a lot about the nature of good and evil, Aristotelian virtues and how we define reality its self. I also enjoy reading Maxim Magazine ... for the articles.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My six year old son
- a Woman who is open to new ideas, thoughts and opinion
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Easy-Going, Good listener, Intelligent
A little more about me
I took five years of Piano so I can find Middle C. I went to a high school for visual and performing arts. I took visual art classes, vocal and acting classes. I?m an Eagle Scout. The oldest of four boys the youngest one I legally adopted, he came to live with me at age 9 when our grandmother passed. I use to volunteer at the Free Clinic and during disaster Releif but family and work priorities require more of my time. I love animals, I always keep cat and dog food in my car incase I find a stray in need. I can be sarcastic, not mean I try not to be and when I fail (I?m only human) I try to make amends. Sometimes I like being lazy.
