More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Too many things. Right now, though, I'd say it's helping people through my work (which I am so lucky I get to do every day), making real connections with people, broadening my horizons and pushing myself to grow.

I typically spend my leisure time

Doing art (drawing and painting), learning about new things (my current faves are anatomy, astrophysics and foreign languages), running, swimming, playing the piano, singing, cooking, dancing, writing, reading, stargazing, having meaningful conversations, enjoying great meals and good wine, playing, and being silly.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone witty, intelligent, and broad-minded who likes a challenge. Someone expressive, communicative, and self-aware. Someone with an imagination and a desire to know about/explore the world. Someone who values his health but isn't a total fanatic about it. Someone who is mature, but indulges (or even shares) my occasionally-juvenile sense of humor. Someone with hobbies and interests, who can teach me something I don't know. Someone who treats other people (not just me) well. Someone who cares about the work he does (whatever that may be). Someone who inspires others. Someone with a beautiful heart and mind.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson. Manson's philosophy towards life is very no-nonsense and seemingly counterintuitive, but actually really wise and much more positive than it sounds. Inspiring, thought-provoking and hilarious. Thoroughly enjoyed! Also a quick and easy read.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family and friends.
  2. My health and my career.
  3. Dark chocolate.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Creative, Genuine, Intelligent

A little more about me

Creative, whimsical, INFJ. I'm a morning person, a bit of a geek, and only slightly ridiculous. I'm active but not hardcore "outdoorsy". I may be the only person in the state of Colorado who's not into camping, fishing and/or beer. I do have serious wanderlust, though (I'm headed to Rio de Janeiro next year). Let's see...I'm inquisitive, I love to learn and I don't get people who aren't curious about things. I'm equal parts spiritual and skeptical. I want to do something about the injustices in our world. I am very independent and don't need someone to "complete me", but I do secretly want someone who will take care of me a little.

I am
Very Liberal
