More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My work! I'm an actor and absolutely love my job. I am incredibly passionate about storytelling, music, and broadening perspectives (my own included), so getting to do all of that for a living is pretty much the best. Not only does it combine my greatest loves, but it has also allowed me enjoy another passion: traveling. My job has taken me all over the country and I'm grateful for all the wonderful places I've gotten to visit.

I typically spend my leisure time

When I'm not performing, I enjoy baking (my Nutella cookies are EPIC), reading, or catching up on my Netflix cue (priorities, right? :). When I travel for work, I love taking the time to get to know whatever city I'm in by visiting museums, different restaurants (again, priorities!), parks, etc. I'm also a huge fan of Swing Dancing, so I love checking out the Lindy Hop scene wherever I go.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'd love to meet a man who is similarly ambitious when it comes to his own career, is kind, intelligent, and has a great sense of humor. Bonus if you're a fellow history and/or sci-fi nerd, but I won't hold it against you if that's not the case :) Most importantly, I'm looking for someone who loves Jesus. My faith is the most important part of who I am and I want to be able to share that with a potential partner.

The first thing people notice about me

Usually the hair :-)

The last book I read and enjoyed

Dead Wake by Erik Larson. It's an in-depth account of the Lusitania's sinking. Very interesting but not great to read in flight over the Atlantic Ocean. That's a mistake I won't make again soon!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Having my dream job
  2. My family
  3. Getting to travel often

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That my interests reach beyond my career. I love the arts, but I also love the sciences (nursing was almost my original career path), history, traveling the world, and learning about different cultures and languages. I basically just love learning and am constantly in awe of how much there is to know about the world around us.
