More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about growing in my relationship and faith in the Lord. I love learning and trying out new things.. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and building deeper relationships and meeting new people and getting to know their stories..

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, hiking, sight-seeing - new places and museums... Love watching live theatre although movies are almost as much fun especially the sci-fi superhero ones... :)

The most influential person in my life has been

Looking for a man who has Christ as the center of his life. Someone who is honest and has values/integrity, is strong and kind. A compatible sense of humor would be nice.. I believe kindness and laughter can help ease a myriad of problems and a compassionate heart is always able to look beyond the immediate future and see the bigger picture.

The first thing people notice about me

My smile and my eyes.. :) I find it quite easy to talk to strangers and people have told me I am very easy to have a conversation with...

The last book I read and enjoyed

Couple of most memorable books would be ScrewTape Letters and The Alchemist. ScrewTape Letters: It's about Screwtape instructing the younger demon Wormwood on how to bring about the damnation of the Christian. It has a lot of nuances to it and as you grow stronger in the understanding of the Lord, this book really starts to make more and more sense. The Alchemist : I have read it not once but quite a few times.. It is quite amazing how the author depicts the journey and it all comes back to the starting point.. Kind of like life!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Faith in God
  2. Family
  3. Work

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am quite extroverted and yet can be shy at times.. I can be direct but find it hard sometimes to say the things that need to be said because it could lead to hurt..

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Funny, Genuine, Intelligent

A little more about me

I tend to be a happy-go-lucky (my friend's description of me) person.. I believe in working hard for what you want to achieve in life. I love getting to know new people, but the deeper conversations that happen later on in the friendships/relationships are what really draw me in and keep me hooked. I like to prepare for the future and my attitude always has been "Hope for the best, Prepare for the worst!". I believe the best part of this life is the people we surround ourselves with.. :) :)Not a huge fan of texting as a means of getting to know another person. Prefer emails and talking on the phone, so hopefully you are the same
