More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I travel quite a bit with my job, and I always enjoy exploring the local cuisine, nightlife, and non-touristy places. I play several instruments and have a deep appreciation of music. I also love outdoor activities, especially hiking and camping. Escaping to a beautiful park or even my family's farm in PA is a great way to spend a day in my opinion.

I typically spend my leisure time

Travel, Hiking, Visiting Breweries, Handbell Ringing (preferably BEFORE visiting a brewery), Home Improvement Projects.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is funny, down to earth, and intellectual. If you're a closet science geek like me who kicks butt in bar trivia, that's a plus. You also have to be comfortable with my work schedule, which can sometimes be late days and some travel. The great thing is that you can join me if you want. It's a plus if you enjoy cooking. My friends and family say that I cook well, but I don't enjoy it.

The first thing people notice about me

That I look like Adele, but I like to think that Adele looks like me. People also say that my eyes are very expressive.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm usually reading a work related book and a leisure book at any given time. The Fiery Cross (It's one of the books in the Outlander series) was the last leisure book, and Resilient Leadership was the last leadership book I read.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family and friends.
  2. My amazing career.
  3. My dog.

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Good listener, Intelligent, Loyal

A little more about me

I am a branch director of a federal agency starting with a consonant. I know, that doesn't narrow it down much, but it does eliminate the much hated IRS. I truly love my job and the privilege to serve my country. I just moved here from Atlanta in early March. I'm originally from PA, but I did pick up a southern accent on certain words. I've also adopted y'all and using sir and ma'am in responses. I'm trying to break that one. Before Atlanta I lived in South Florida for ten years.
