The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about animation. When I first learned how to make an image move, my heart jumped and I actually felt excited about something I made myself. Now I have so many ideas for projects and videos that I can't animate fast enough. Right now I'm in a class called Animation Bootcamp. I'm a dual-career person...I am also an Event Coordinator for special events, theater, and television because what I am good at doing a lot at once. No amount of work or chaos scares me. Animation gets me excited, but management keeps me going.
I typically spend my leisure time
I enjoy cooking. I read recipes and try hard to learn how to cook healthy food. I figured out that the key to cooking is patience and an open mind. And I make killer homemade ice cream! I also like hands-on activities - cutting pictures out of magazines, drawing (even though I am a terrible at it), fixing things around the house, rearranging furniture, playing my ukulele. I think its because phones and social media annoy me so much. I also try to be a really good sister.
The most influential person in my life has been
Reliable. That's number one. I don't want to be jerked around. If you're not interested or you don't want an actual relationship or you're too busy or you're into somebody else, or you want that friends-with-benefits BS, or you're distracted, or there's some other shit going on, no thanks. Number two, I want someone super CUTE! And number three, it's important that you're not lazy. I'm ambitious, I have many hobbies, and I do a lot with my family. Guys who sit on the couch and are "chill" don't interest me. I also prefer someone in the city - I've done long distance before and it didn't work well for me.
The first thing people notice about me
The first thing people notice is probably the black Rayburn sunglasses either sitting on my head pushing my hair back or covering my eyes - it's my signature item. After that, I'm short and have blonde hair. Oftentimes people describe me as quiet, professional, tough, or sarcastic. But they forget caring, loving, and fun!
The last book I read and enjoyed
A Jane Austin Education by William Deresiewicz. This book is written by an English lit professor who writes about Jane Austen's famous books, how they compare to his own life, and how her lessons on love, friendship, doing good, and growing up are so important. He's extremely insighful and this book was hard to put down.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Hillary Clinton's nerves of steel
- My family's unbreakable bond
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
There's nothing obvious about me - I'm not tall with bright blonde hair and a loud mouth. I don't drink or party or dress like a Hollywood actress. Yeah, if you look at me I'm pretty plain looking. But there's a lot underneath that.
Friends Describe me as
