More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I realize how blessed and fortunate I am. As corny as it may sound, I feel it's my duty and privilege to help people out. Maybe it's something as small as being a person you can confide in...whatever it takes to make life a little less cold for somebody. I'm of the mindset that you don't need to travel across the globe to make an impact on the world. Aside from that, I've started studying theology (mostly Christian) the last year or so. Those lengthy, dry books really light my fire. OK that last one sounds boring. Traveling and trying new restaurants are also a lot of fun! That's better.

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, being outdoors, some sports

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty is pretty obvious. It's the key to so much in any kind of relationship. Self discipline is another, and it doesn't get much attention. People that make the hard decision not to conform to the ways of the world really impress me.

The first thing people notice about me

My manners and my humor. I'm pretty old fashioned. Please and thank you, yes ma'am/sir. My parents raised me to always show respect for everyone. I guess my humor is a little harder to describe. I'll never be the life of the party (nor do I desire to be) so I go for quips and obscure movie quotes that usually get a chuckle or two. A mix of high brow and silly is the way to go.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Adventure of Wisteria Lodge (Sherlock Holmes)It wasn't one of Doyle's stronger novels but it was enjoyable enough for a quick read.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Health
  2. Faith
  3. Family

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That it takes a bit for me to be comfortable enough to let my real self out. I'm guilty of letting my shyness take over at first and I'm working on that.

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Energetic, Respectful, Spiritual

A little more about me

There was a time where I had myself convinced I didn't need anybody else. And life has a funny way of showing you how stupid you really are. I'm not in this for a buddy or a fling. Im also not here for the first woman available. While I know this sounds extremely arrogant, I know what my worth is. As much as I enjoy the attention of a pretty woman, it's going to take more than that. Also, I take being a Christian very seriously. Yes, all of it. My goal is to be the kind of man (and eventually husband) the Bible describes.
