The one thing I am passionate about...
I don't consider myself "passionate" about anything, but I am fairly serious about finding someone who is right for me.In the interest of potentially saving your time, I don't like jewelry, make up, dyed hair, tattoos, painted or intentionally long nails, perfume and coffee. If any of these are personally important to you, then we will most likely not work out. For clarity, if your job requires make up, I don't have a problem with that. Also, not really a fan of sandals or high heels, and I'm allergic to cats.I don't know why they keep matching me with occasional drinkers.
I typically spend my leisure time
Lately, I been just doing little projects like business related tidying and organizing, but I have added a couple of more custom-designed t-shirts to my wardrobe (I get a plain black shirt and do a design on it myself). Mainly I'm just generally going through a period of personal betterment.
The most influential person in my life has been
Probably honesty. Partly going back to the make up thing, but just a value of truth in general. Have the confidence and self-respect to be virtually offended by the idea of being intentionally false.I want someone who does not need me, but does want only me. I want an equal. I won't ask of you anything I'm not willing offer.Off topic, but it's not that don't like pets; I've just had my fill of animals being dependant upon me.And I started doing a 20/4 Intermittent Fast, to try to get into better shape. Seems good, so far.My unpredictable job has made me no stranger to hunger, so it's not too much of an adj
The first thing people notice about me
I suspect it's that I wear all black. T-shirt, cargo pants, work boots, sometimes a cap.Something that surprises people is that I have a deceptively youthful appearance and manner.Based on comments, questions and reactions, I suspect people tend to think I'm in my early 30s.In my early 20s, once a restaurant hostess was not sure if I was over 12.I view this as a blessing. It runs in the family.I jokingly consider myself perpetually a guy half my age, but that includes mindset, as well.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Hagakure. It has had a very distinct impact on my life.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Patience. I think of myself as living a slower life than the average person.
- A not bad life. I've not had a fantastic life, but I'm grateful that it hasn't been a bad one.
- Intuition. Inner knowledge that can be tapped to help live a good life.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I suppose... that I don't try to dictate other people's lives. I try to avoid the words "should" and "shouldn't" when it comes to people's life choices.
Friends Describe me as
Easy-Going, Intelligent, Quiet, Sweet
A little more about me
I know my profile has a rather negative tone. I don't always know what I DO want, but I do know what I DON'T want, so that's how I approach this. It's a filter that saves both of us time.I don't want to kiss make up.I don't want to nibble an earring.Tattoos obscure my view.A pierced belly button is a tragedy.Dyed hair and makeup is a lie.True beauty needs no decoration, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.Do you want someone who prefers you decorated?I don't want someone for the sake of having someone. I want someone who is truly right for me, and if you make it through ALL my filters, then you a
