The one thing I am passionate about...
Ok, doing some edits here. I'm a positive person, no drama and no high maintenance. I'm a skinny jeans and tennis shoes girl, but I will rock heels and a little black dress if the occasion calls for it, and I hold my own in professional settings. I'm looking for that man...the one that thinks about me all day and get a smile on his face. The one that calls when he says he will, and can plan a great date, a man that knows what he wants and goes after it, is intentional about his life and relationships, cares about how my day was and won't check scores on his phone on the first date!
I typically spend my leisure time
I love everything outdoors and downtown, and hanging out at home after a long week. I especially love big, laughter filled family dinners with the kids hanging out for hours or watching a game. I'm a big girl that can take care off herself and not looking for a string of men to buy me dinner. I love my family, my dog, my work, my whole life. I'm a very good cook and willing to cook dinner with you and do the dishes together. :) I'm a chemistry girl looking for that one in a million zing, the butterflies in the stomach thing that has the potential to build into an amazing intentional relationship.
The most influential person in my life has been
The man that has a plan for his life and it doesn't involve retiring to a recliner at 65. How does the song go? "Someone I can turn to, someone I can kiss..." Google the lyrics and check the Cold Play video, you'll see what I mean. I'm looking to find love that lasts and have FUN, be half of a team that want the best for each other every single day. Life's really to short for anything else guys.
The first thing people notice about me
People always ask me why I'm smiling. It's really that they notice my confidence and being ready for whatever my day might bring.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari. It's about this...the culture of finding love and how it's changed in the last few decades. The Glass Castle, and Outliers. And honestly, I spend more time reading research on best practices for work.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- I am so proud of my kids and their families .
- The work I love.
- My home
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
People always see me as a focused driven leader. The person that gets things done when others have given up. Later the notice how funny I am, but rarely do they see my heart and how compassionate I am.
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Funny, Happy, Hard Working
A little more about me
I'm completely independent and happy. Family and my work are what I live for, with a nice dose of friends on the side. I'm a morning person and a night owl, and it's always a good day if someone's laughing. I believe in the spark, that unexpected recognition of another human that feels like nothing else, it doesn't come around often, and it's totally worth the search.
