More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love apocalypse movies, airplane food, zombies, and using the oxford comma. I am hopelessly romantic, a total closet-nerd, and prefer sunsets to sunrises (but not for the reason you think, ask me why!). I am passionate about travel and culture. The more I see the less I know and I love that. I am a naturally curious person, wired to explore and try new things.

I typically spend my leisure time

As former movie theater employee, I am an avid movie watcher. I also love to explore the city and visit the pups and kits at the humane society. I really enjoy live music of all varieties and a really good margarita.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for someone dynamic, someone who isn't easy to figure out, who makes me think about the world in a different way, and who is genuinely interested in figuring out what makes me tick. A kind heart, level head, and great grammar wouldn't hurt either.

The first thing people notice about me

That I kind of look like Emma Stone? It's all in the eyes. But I hope they also notice my genuine care for people and that I'm honest like Abe.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I recently finished "The Giver." It's one of those books that make you think, "What if...?" and I like that.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My lovely roommates/friends for taking me in during a life transition
  2. A family who drives me crazy but I know would do anything for me
  3. The experiences I have had and the wonderful people I have met while traveling abroad

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I wish people would see that there is SO much more to me than I ever let on when we first meet. I am an onion, an ice burg, or whatever "there's more than meets the eye" cliche you prefer.

A little more about me

I adore playfulness. I'm looking for a guy who will enjoy stupid bets and dares to decide who buys the next round of drinks or pays for dinner. :)
