The one thing I am passionate about...
Connecting with people, laughing, having adventures, travel, dancing, theater (movies and live), learning, reading, cooking and hosting friends and getting into the great outdoors. A lot of these are connected by a basic love of what I call story telling - hearing people's stories (fictitious in art or real around the dinner table) and through knowing a person's story, having loving friendships and family ties.
I typically spend my leisure time
Cooking turns out to be the 'zone' for me - creative, relaxing and then delicious! Love to see many forms of theater; film, plays, any kind of concert involving singing, movies, dance, musicals, and am curious to explore opera.Out of doors: hiking, biking, swimming, adventuring, exploringWhen I have a day off the perfect day would be morning swim/yoga, great breakfast, hike or bike somewhere beautiful and wild, shower (sex somewhere there) and fab dinner made together.
The most influential person in my life has been
A man who is open with heart, mind and soul. Comfortable with himself and looking to create joy and embrace challenges with me and my family, as I would with him and his. Curiosity and caring both musts.....as well as laughing often.
The first thing people notice about me
That I genuinely like people. And that I take joy in life.
The last book I read and enjoyed

Also fan of Ann Patchett because she shows us what people reveal about themselves when placed in extraordinary circumstances. Her recent book of essays is really about her life's work (writing) and how tough it is to practice re

A little more about me
I am hoping to spend the rest of my life with a partner who wants to continue to grow as a person "All serious daring starts from within." said Eudora Welty. I'd like to be seriously daring in little personal ways having done some daring things professionally and in adventuring. I recently dared to run for local office having never done anything like that before - I learned that real people want to come to the center and really have a great community. And that everyone wants to have and deserves a voice. Finding beauty in something within or without seems like a good way to live each day with attention to what a gift each o
