More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm very passionate about taking care of others and making a positive difference in other people's lives and therefore in the healthcare field. I've been an Army Medic since 2009 and currently continuing my education in Radiology.

I typically spend my leisure time

1.) Enjoying the outdoors whether it be hiking, camping, fishing, or just bumming it at the beach.2.) Having friends and family over for a kickback or just generally hanging out.3.) Playing the drums and making really bad songs with my friends.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for someone who generally enjoys the little things in life and likes to take things nice and easy. Sometimes I take slow walks in the park and take in the beauty of that moment. I'd like to share quiet moments like these with someone special.I see life like the ocean: deep, scary, mysteries lurking in dark places, merciless and unforgiving. Yet, it can be extraordinary, beautiful, and provide the feeling of freedom when you float in it on a calm day. I want someone to be a part of what keeps me floating.

The first thing people notice about me

My laugh. I have a weird one.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Education of Millionaires: Everything you won't learn in college about how to be successful -- by Michael Ellsberg. I enjoyed it not just for the skills that it teaches but also for the author's outlook on what we're all told since we were kids: go to college and be successful in life, guaranteed. Or rather, how success in life is not guaranteed simply because of an expensive piece of paper.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Being born into such a wonderful world
  2. My family and friends
  3. Different cultures and their cuisine. I love food.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

If I'm brutally honest it means I care about you. If I'm being really nice and tell you everything's gonna be OK it means that I still care about you and I probably don't know you that well. I probably also think you're a wuss.

A little more about me

An online profile really isn't a great way to get to know me since there's so limited space to write stuff! I enjoy conversation about anything so don't be afraid to ask away! I've never been phased by much. Stuff not mentioned in the rest of my profile: 2nd generation Japanese-American, I have a pineapple conure named Bebe, and zombies. Ha!
